I don't like the animation style and was instantly put off by Seth Rogan being involved, who I also dont like at all, but I did listen to an interview w/ Andy Serkis relatively recently, in which he said that he wasn't as involved with making it anti-communist, as much as anti-authoritarian generally. He said he took some liberties with the script, changed the ending, and kept "Orwell's ethos", which kind of sounds retarded on its face. So I assumed that would be more of an indicator of how bad it is rather than the people "acting" in it, as I doubt Andy Serkis can "modernize Orwell".Keep in mind that the "new" animal farm is so laughably bad that George Orwell himself is powering up angel studios by rolling in his grave. "How bad is it?" A black troon (Laverne cox, someone who I've never heard of) plays snowball, one of the teens from stranger things plays a piglet, the guy who played Sheldon in the big bang theory plays some sheep, and Joe Rogan plays napoleon.
Oh also it's *Seth* Rogan that plays Napoleon, not Joe Rogan, lol. Not that they're that far off
