The thing I don't understand about made in abyss is why they had to make the characters look like 6 year olds.
I've never seen it so idk anything and just now watched a trailer but on imdb it says it's an 'adult animation' and it's like they live in some hole or whatever and crazy stuff happens.

But all the characters look like they're like 6 years old.
Why not just make the characters be normal

like this is what this looks like and everyone says this is an 'adult' anime or w/e with grown up themes
then why does it have people that look like children and this fuckin rabbit thing.

In other words - the animation style and the subjects make this seems like it's geared towards children.
If it was supposed to be for adults you would think it would have more adult style aesthetics.

Iirc it shows child nudity and scenes of severe gore of children, don't quote me on this because I haven't seen it but it's what I have heard from others talking about it. Someone also showed me a scene and it's nearly impossible to watch due to thr amount of detail

Pretty much every combat capable male that didn't have an excuse was in the Red Army and they STILL had manpower shortage.
