I really respect this level of grift.Idk if this is MATI worthy but it made me laugh. This woman was gifted a croissant-shaped lamp by her sister and one day she noticed ants all over it and realized it's actually a real croissant that is just covered in resin that they put an LED light in.

And if you're wondering, yes this is a real product made in Japan.

$100 dollars for a croissant with an LED light inside. They also sell other bread.

It's like $5 parts and labor, but they're selling them for 100 or more. That's a money printer.I really respect this level of grift.
Can't wait for the reviews. "It was beautiful and looked exactly as advertized, but then fell apart after 3 days and became stinky". A fool and his money are soon parted! It's like $5 parts and labor, but they're selling them for 100 or more. That's a money printer.
Snake oil never disappeared, it evolved. Transformed by hundreds of years of evolution into a etzy tier arts and craft piece people pay hundreds for. It's cheating at life. But my gosh I wish I was in on it.Can't wait for the reviews. "It was beautiful and looked exactly as advertized, but then fell apart after 3 days and became stinky". You just need to have mild sociopathy and an insane idea.Snake oil never disappeared, it evolved. Transformed by hundreds of years of evolution into a etzy tier arts and craft piece people pay hundreds for. It's cheating at life. But my gosh I wish I was in on it.

This isn't the first time I've seen this done. Anyone with common sense knows that even with a resin coating, that shit doesn't work. To keep bugs out, you'd need enough resin coating to completely obscure the shape of the pastry. Even if you did that, it's still food inside and it's not sterile, so it's going to rot from the inside. Then there's the question of how they handled the punctures necessary for the cord. Was the pastry already on the cord with the bulb inside before it was coated in resin? Probably not. Has a dumber fucking question ever needed to be asked? Probably not.Idk if this is MATI worthy but it made me laugh. Well he's also autistic and just can't decide.Null, stop messing with the front page. I'm autistic and can't handle change.
Ehrm… akthually the Torah is included in the Bible because it’s the first five book, sweetums. If I were to SURMISE, I would suspect you meant to say the Talmud, Lord forgive me for uttering the nameI wouldn’t be surprised if someone sends a Torah verse
To steelman him, you could argue the Torah used by Jews today and the first 5 books of current bible translations do have differences due to theological changes made by Rabbis in response to Christianity.Ehrm… akthually the Torah is included in the Bible because it’s the first five book, sweetums.
