A cock ring killed my dad - I don't know how to process this by user CurrentRub1025​

First off: this is unfortunately all 100% real. If a mod needs proof in order to not delete, I can send.
The death certificate lists the cause of death as: acute renal failure, penile incarceration, and sig condition (?): pulmonary embolism. There are only five total people who know about this. I shared it with my partner, but I obviously can't discuss this with my friends or anyone else in the family. I'm posting this from a throwaway account. I'm not sure what I hope to get from sharing this, other than seeking recognition for the absurdity of all of this. Please don't DM me about this. I'll respond to questions the best I can, but like...what do I even say at this point?
TLDR: Dad passed away two weeks ago. We assumed it was drug related, since he had a history of substance and mental health issues. Just received the death certificate, and it listed the above factors as cause of death. Apparently my uncle who IDed the body was told by the detective that my dad's penis necrotized because it was trapped in an s shape pvc pipe - a diy cock ring, more or less. It was likely that he had taken viagra or was on a stimulant, and his erection never went away - so there was blood trapped in the scrotum/penis, and it triggered renal failure, caused a PE, and likely led to him bleeding out after his penis necrotized. My uncle told me that he intended to take this info to his grave / never tell anyone, but the death certificate gave the reasons. Everyone who knew my dad was aware of his trouble/issues, and likely assumed a drug OD. I'm sure there were drugs in his system, but we haven't received the toxicity report.
I've been operating under the assumption that my dad killed himself with drugs, for almost two weeks. I was so mad/frustrated, and had recurring anxiety. I've never cried so hard in my life, or experienced so many competing emotions. But, finding this out just leaves me...confused. It's like something that would have been written as a twisted joke in a comedy. Knowing that it was an accident has removed some of the complicated feelings/questions that come from a family member committing suicide, but this still feels like a drawn out and slow suicide to me. I can't make sense of it, and doubt I ever will.
My siblings and I have tried to find the humor in it - he died doing what he loved, or something to that affect. But it's still a pointless and unnecessary death. Like, I don't get why he didn't just call an ambulance. We have to assume that drugs were involved, and maybe he didn't know what was fully going on. If that's the case, I feel bad for him - I assume he was freaking the fuck out, but maybe couldn't respond? I just...don't know.
Again, no idea what I hope to get with this. I just can't share it with anyone in my life, and will have to say some generic thing about to anyone who asks "heart issues." This is such an embarrassing way for him to pass, and I understand why my uncle didn't want to tell us. It was already hard enough to adjust and accept his passing. I am worried this will delay me accepting it, because I can't take it seriously. It's so fucking crazy.
Note: I originally typed out a longer explanation with more context/background info, but I think my brother in law is on here, so I ended up deleting anything that could be traced back.

While he was deployed, he took some damage to his leg. They were able to save it, but the damage came back to bite him in his old age, he ended up going septic, and the doctors had to amputate. He, I guess, didn't suspect he'd be amputated, some miscommunication due to the Mexican hospital system being less than great, ...
That comment continues but a Mexican hospital mixing up an amputation does not sound great for Ralph.

Great new food hack from King Cobes to maybe save for a rainy day. BBQ Bacon Devil Dog.
It involves melting bacon grease and butter to microwave the hot dog in. He didn't express his argument well but I don't think it's fair to make it that simple that he's pedoguarding.

Phil's argument is/was "I'm only going to focus on what's going on in my sphere of the internet, if I start banning people for being toxic outside of my territory well that opens up attacks on my other users." What happens if another user of DSP's community loves to shitpost racist/sexist content? E.G. CoolAryanMan88 only talks about video games on Phil's chat but it makes Phil look bad as the fan's Youtube channel is filled with TKD videos?

And before you say "No one's going to bust Phil's balls for racism" well they have and they'll continue to do so. For crying out loud I've seen them cry crocodile tears because Warski and PPP ate Nazi Cookies and did their tribute to George Floyd.

At the end of the day it's in Phil's interest to be a lazy janny. He made the right call in finally agreeing to ban Derich. It's not gonna satisfy the detractors though because apparently Phil is lying about the extent of fanart Derich made for Phil's channel. And I don't know or care to know how deceitful Phil is being because really "WHO CARES?" It's not like Phil was taking Derich to the Nickolodeon Awards.

To make myself clear I feel I'm on the same page as Null. I like the Detractors when they're funny when goofing on Phil. The Detractor game is hilarious. I just don't want to go full QAnon.

The detractors are like the pests, without the pests' legendary self-control, intelligence, and sinks.

They think they're smart enough to be some kind of Internet Autist but in reality a vast majority of them aspire but never reach "I was just pretending to be retarded." Like the monkeys at the zoo, it's a group that is amusing but dangerous to get involved with.
 
As a preface, I fully support the pedo on the DSP stream getting banned, and I'd probably agree with most of the memes about woodchippers etc.

I just watched the DSP convo. I don't care about Phil, and my only interest stems from Josh's appearance. About the pedo chatter situation, doesn't the DPS have a point?

When Cloudflare banned the Farms and confiscated Josh's domains, didn't Josh make the same argument? When you make moderation decisions, you are held to a certain standard.
If Cloudflare is content neutral and doesn't take down sites without legal orders, you can't really question why they provide service to certain sites. When they take down KF for content reasons, it's valid to question why ISIS, Zoo-sadism, DIY HRT and all the other abhorrent sites that use CF are allowed that platform.

What makes the DSP situation different? Doesn't Phil's responsibility end with the behavior on the stream chats he moderates? If he's making moderation decisions based on behavior outside the chat, doesn't he need to hold all his chatters to the same standard? Shouldn't the responsibility lie with the police forces to jail or hang this pedo?

I feel like DSP is too stupid to articulate this argument, and maybe I'm just making the argument for him while he hasn't properly thought about this, but I feel like he had a somewhat valid point. I guess you could make the argument that the corporate status or the size of the platform for CF makes the situation different but I don't really see it.
 
I think there's something to the argument above - you police your area and you usually base that policing on activities done in your sphere - but not always. After all, KF will ban you explicitly in the rules for doing fuckery outside the site - because that's against the interests of the site.

Every site everywhere has an unwritten rule #0 which is "don't make the site look bad" - Reddit banned /r/jailbait even though they skirted the edge of legality, because it made the site look bad. Null banned that weird pedo Nick fan because it made the site look bad. In the end, it's your platform and you can do what you want.

The argument re Cloudflare is that they are NOT a platform where they should be able to do what they want, they're so large and influential that they should be regulated like a quasi-governmental body. If there were a hundred cloudflares it wouldn't matter much, but there are two.

(There's another issue which is you can have hundreds of banks but they all decide the same "not required by law" option, so you have the theoretically right to something but no practical right. It makes people financial incels! But that's another issue.)

Anyway, in general, pedos who let it be know that they are pedos should get the rope.
