This is untrue. Null recently covered this on MATI, there have been several investigations filming employees from Pornhub on dates with women as well as several e-mail leaks where they admit they do not ID verify the user generated content, allow videos without faces to be uploaded to get around CP laws and have one moderator and a backlog of 700,000 flagged videos. That's why there is a class action lawsuit against them right now by thousands of women and states are banning access to the site. You guys need to realize that if you watch porn there is a very high chance you have jerked off to a woman who was underaged or drugged and raped or sex trafficked and sold into sex slavery. Or ALL OF THOSE.

The old days of porn were bimbos who went to California thinking they'd get into Hollywood, only to find out such an industry is hyper competitive. Then they got invited into a party in the (((SAN FERNANDO VALLEY))) and well just watch Boogie Nights it does a good job explaining such a world.

Still Pornhub before the big purge just let anyone upload anything which included iconic moments like users uploading Germany fucking Brazil in the world cup. But it was a literal wasteland so yeah everything you noted.

But yeah I get you're coming from it's a fucked up world. But the site itself isn't like it was which had the same crisis that Youtube and Tiktok has had.
 
I'll be converting my personal archive of MATI streams down to 32 kbps within the next week or two. Using last night's stream, here's an example of how it'll sound, at 35.5 MB:

Small file size, and less time/data for me to upload, but as you can hear, there's an audible fuzziness to it. I can tolerate it no problem, and it gives me more space on my computer and cards to work with, but other people might hate it if everything I upload sounds like this. I'd be interested in hearing people's thoughts. Also, @Big Mommy is the Excel up yet?

Because it's an addiction, it's a combination of warped dopamine pathways (damage that can undone by avoiding online porn) and self-brainwashing. This book probably has the best explanation. To make it simple, modern online porn is very different from the porn of yesteryear. It's supernormal stimulus where the brain is flooded with dopamine. However, the important part is that the dopamine flooding occurs during the browsing. It's the flipping through various pornographic materials, opening new tabs, scanning through videos, and searching through directories that causes the actual dopamine flood to occur. This dump of dopamine causes the brain to cull out dopamine pathways that are less effective (aka more normal rather than supernormal) which causes the brain to confuse normal everyday hassles with an urge to view porn (as its culled out so many other dopamine pathways).

It's both a very difficult addiction to kick because it is so normalized and easy to slip into, but paradoxically easy to break once you grasp the mechanism. It's a reminder that, especially on a forum like this, that we must be careful what media we consume.
 
I don't expect this whole thread to be covered in MATI but I do like to ask if people would find an orbiter clout chasing ever since Youtube began, being involved in Gamergate, the alt-right, IBS and the "sektur" interesting.

Unlike the vast majority of orbiters, many sektur names do know of his existence but he flew under the radar because like Metokur he DFEs then resurfaces under a new handle but unlike Metokur he doesn't have the talent for him to become popular the instant he rebrands.

He also displays all of the behaviours we associate with sektur lolcows including but not limited to plagiarism, creeping on fans, doxing fans, having an overinflated ego, troubled family, mental illness, scamming money and so on.

The problem is figuring out how the speech to text translated it.

If it helps, Drex introduced Nick to the Balldo in Feb '22, but it really started coming up during that summer. The Google stt on Rackets' streams alternatively wrote it out as (balldo|ball do|baldo) [sometimes with trailing e on do].

IIRC it's because he only uploads on it when he has time in the office after working on the main channel videos to record those, and as soon as he goes back home it's parental duties all the time. It's nice to hear some comments from someone who's actually from the UK and hates the government though.
