I was surprised the youtube stream survived. Pretty sure when you say LGTV+ slurs you'll get kicked off quickly. Elliot and John definitely watched. They always watch. John even writes down everything Null says and tweets it.

But part of why no one makes new shit is all the search engines and globohomo Internet control will fuck you over the second you try. The biggest thing that all of these mega corps did to prop themselves up, is they locked down advertisement avenues almost completely.

Edit: Mother Jones is far left, I think they were the ones that called Dave Rubin alt right and he was going to sue them but they backed down.

Hey Josh thanks for covering the OGL shit. Them cancelling the new OGL isn't necessarily the victory it could be. The main issue with the old license is that it uses the term "Perpetual" and not "Irrevocable." It was intended to be always be in place, but as the law evolves terms change and with that change Hasbro/Wizards saw an opportunity to increase profits by altering the OGL to kill off all the third party companies that the old OGL specifically encourages. A true victory would be them changing next to nothing in the OGL and exchanging the term "Perpetual" with "Irrevocable", this will never happen however.

The OGL was also a lot worse then you made it out to be. The OGL had it set up that they were the sole arbiter of what was "Bigoted" so they could if they wanted simply claim your content was bigoted, cancel your license and keep your IP. They didn't need to even have a reason to cancel your license. One of the lines specifically says they can cancel your license for any reason or no reason. Want to sell your IP to someone else? Sorry you can't do that, if you made under the OGL it's wizards now FOREVER. Want to fight them in court over it? To bad, you gave up your right to sue them when you made content under the new OGL. None of this is exaggeration.

I'm pretty sure Null was referring to XenForo's features and he's repeatedly said he's not developing anything else for XF.

Listening to the archive and just now heard you ramble about WOTC writing up rules and making all classes/specs balanced- LOLwut, dude? WOTC is utter dogshit at balancing absolutely anything and doing much else for that game. You're fucked if you class as a ranger unless the DM builds a lot of the game to revolve around you, and playing a monk with a staff is bordering on godmode in melee combat.

I know, I know, you give zero fucks about this shit, but here's my point: the company who "owns" D&D is absolutely inept with it. Nobody who's looking to have a fun game follows the "rules"; they all homebrew it with the DM, who actually makes the rules and just uses the WOTC content as basic framework to make the process faster. The only reason why anyone gives a shit about D&D comes down to two things: OGL content and personally-made content. If you're a rules-lawyer or even just insist on no homebrewing, pretty much no one will want to play with you.

Another problem with Denuvo games is how effective of a DRM it is.

-Some Denuvo games take ultra long to crack (I would show you clearly on crackwatch.com if the site was alive)
Octopath traveler took 1 year to be cracked.

-Some denuvo games are more expensive than they should most likely because of the cost of denuvo.

-Denuvo used to really slow down your pc

It kinda shows your priorities as a game dev to make every customer pay X more $ and have a slower experience just to stop piracy temporarily.


It has nothing to do with tranny shit.
