I don't see what the big deal is, two weeks isn't even that long of a break. Hell, Null should take an even longer hiatus and return when he wants to. I'd rather wait to listen to a podcast with spirit than a half-hearted one that feels like work. Some might complain about it but hey, the audience is fickle as hell sometimes so complaining is going to happen regardless.

To summarize, Ina and David Steiner run a blog called ECommerceBytes. It was critical of eBay, tho what exactly their criticism were or how often I do not know. Ina said that they've been covering eBay for 2 decades. Whatever the hell they said was enough to piss off the fucking top of eBay enough to send texts with words like "take her down" and "I want to see ashes".
For years the Steiners began getting deliveries of things like live spiders, bloody pig masks, preserved pig fetuses, and a book about what to do when your fucking spouse dies.
The people of eBay also did such silly billy things like sign David up for porn magazines and have them addressed to his neighbors with his name on them. Ebay also listed his house on Craigslist as a place for "singles, couples and swingers". There were even attempts to ATTACH A FUCKING GPS TRACKER TO THEIR CAR.
and by "attempt" I mean 2 execs and an unnamed employee tried to physically break into the Steiner's garage and plant the tracker them-fucking-selves.
So bad was this that there were actual executive level fuckers who saw jail time for it in 2022.
Senior Director of Safety and Security James Baugh got about 5 years and David Harville got 2. Even the former CEO Devin Wenig, the one who text records show he approved this with his text "take her down", didn't escape. He had to give the Steiner's $2 million and donate $1 million to "a charity protecting First Amendment rights in Ina Steiner's name".
And I want to make it abso-fucking-lutely clear of the timeline. The actual harassment started in 2019. Executives from eBay rented a fucking van in 2020 with the purpose of breaking into the Steiner's garage to plant a tracker on their car. Baugh and Harville were arrested in June of fucking 2020. They pled guilty in April of 2022 and were sentenced in September of 2022. September 3rd, 2022, is when Matthew Prince declared that there was an "immediate threat to human life unlike we have previously seen from Kiwifarms or any other customer before". Ebay was and is a customer of Cloudflare. I hope all these people get their oak doors burnt by third worlders before the same third worlders cave their fucking skulls in.
