Protestants wouldnt need to recruit from africa and other shithole countries if they focused on architecture to drive new people in, many times i've seen here (as well as evangelics) them ocupying some shitty rapeshack and calling it a "church", only the Catholics care enough to build something decent (or at least they used to as far as im aware of new ones)
 
Also, the part where Josh pontificates that the beginning was made, the fans liked it, so Gooseworx should have made absolutely sure that the ending was also done extremely well, because the middle doesn't really matter and won't be remembered, is quite literally the exact same thing that Ben "Yahtzee" Crowshaw said about storytelling.

Source: I have seen every single Zero Punctuation up to around ~2021, and my memory is nearly absolute.

I wish there was a site like the one run by a forum member that transcribes and indexes MATI, which did the same for the entirety of Zero Punctuation/Yahtzee's videos, so you could search it and find the exact video.
 
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I saw this video and at the 1:14:00 mark they start talking about going after payment processors to stop Minecraft from being able to process microtransactions.
Which I guess it's fair to stop kids from gambling but I feel this shows a lot of people a very easy way to fuck with people.

Hearing Josh describe the big comfy couch as "a couch with dust bunnies where a jewish girl shows up" had me laughing. Fun fact, the clown, Loonnette, was played by the girl who played Claire Redfield in Resident Evil for like 15 years.
 
I genuinely don't recommend any anime, the Japanese figured out long ago how to target the gooner audience and so pretty much everything is either goonbait or just so niche that you all wouldn't get anything out of it.
It's actually crazy, the better a show is the less cheesecake it tends to have and therefore finding a funny-bad anime without goonbait is harder than finding an anime Josh would enjoy in his free time.

Typically when forced to recommend an anime with absolutely no gooner shit, they will go to the exact same shows from the 80s, the number one usually being Legend of the Gay Lactating Homosexuals. But it's like, why wouldn't you just watch Star Trek, or read Starship Troopers, or any other speculative sci fi about politics and war and society? Why does it have to be this obscure anime from the 80s? The answer is usually because of arrested development.

the obvious 80's rec is akira. it was released in 88, has no gooner shit and is probably the most iconic anime movie of all time. 2nd to ghost in the shell (1995 albeit) which although is not outright gooner shit, probably moves closer to that line since it has mild nudity.

Its so fucking good I can't talk about it without crying. I'm not joking. This series is a short couple of episodes that hit you like a brick at the end.
