I can buy this being real, considering that Ted Bundy had women sending him love letters when he was on death row. Not sure what it is that makes people idolize or fall in love with killers. Is it because killers act out, and these people admire them for it because they can't/won't do it themselves? Is it a fantasy of "I'd understand this misunderstood person" or "I'll be the special one he doesn't murder"?

On a power leveling note, it kind of sucks to be reminded of Columbine when I'm going to be playing in the Doom alpha this weekend.

Most likely. My experience with psychosis made me fear the opinions of others, as they would only re-enforce what I already suspected (paranoid delusions). This was not something I could or wanted to emphasize, it was something I wanted to hide. NOT explain to the world or even let them see....it was/is something to keep quiet about.

Of course, all our experiences are different.

But, to me, bragging about being 'cray' and trying to demonstrate it is a sign that you are not. Because you don't get it, other than some kind of status symbol and an attention beacon.
