I was wondering if anyone felt the same way about Lucky Charms as me.
I like the cereal. But I have to eat it very carefully and chew very, very slowly.
The normal part of the cereal is totally fine...however, each time I bite into one of the "marshmallows", I get the same involuntary full-body response that one might receive from hearing nails on a chalkboard, or pulling apart cottonballs / squeezing them between their fingers: it is an undeniable feeling of revulsion and repulsion, complete with skin crawling and cringing and everything else that goes along with the worst of such responses.
The effect can be minimized if I chew through them very slowly. Soggification helps a little but the matter is so dense that the milk never penetrates throughout the entire mallow. I even enjoy the flavor of the marshmallows, but the hard-packed dry texture is a complete nightmare.
How does kiwi eat his Lucky Charms, and does he feel the same way? Thank you for reading my post about Lucky Charms.
