I'd say if Lucas had been in car accident at some pt, he would have mentioned it somewhere along the line. He did say he had a bicycle accident when he was young and broke his front teeth.

Lucas used to drive. Ages ago, he had the distinction of being one of the first folks in WA to get a DUI over marijuana. There are also tantalizing hints about an incident with his father's truck, buried in some of his earliest content.
