No, you’re correct. There’s generally little to no science behind best before dates. Pasteurized orange juice should theoretically be okay past the best by date as long as it’s been stored properly. If it’s been opened and unrefrigerated mold or bacterial contamination would be a concern, but it would also smell rancid and look off.Correct me if I'm wrong but the dates on the bottles are just a guideline in most cases right? Just an advisory, a "best by" date beyond which the manufacturer/bottler/whatever can't guarantee it'll taste right
