I'm a big Louis Theroux fan but this was one of the weakest ones he has done, he was just unable to build a rapport with the interviewees which I don't think has happened before. But still many funny moments and reactions.

Not sure how anyone thinks Nick Fuentes came across looking good when he says women shouldn't have the right to vote and claims he makes "millions" but still lives at home with his mother, that is pretty comical. He also seems uncomfortable when Louis asked him about gays. Now I agree he comes off far better Baked or Beardson and I doubt it will really impact him in any way.

Did anyone ask if Louis was Jewish again? That's basically his kill phrase from like two docs, he gets noticeably uncomfortable around the Black Israelites, Neo=Nazi's, and one more group that wasn't even racist in his docs. I don't really care for Louis though, he's a pedo enabler and would of been fun if Fuentes called him out on that, here's hoping Fuentes pulled a Sam Hyde and had a hidden camera.

He asked Jimmy Savile in his interview with him if he was a pedo so he clearly didn't cover up for him however he didn't push very hard on the subject and is something he regretted when he made the follow-up.

Louis is a good propagandist, he let's people hang themselves when he goes after idiots. I do think he covered for Savile, I don't think Louis is unbiased. He makes fun of retards in the same way the farms does most of the time, but he's inherently dishonest with himself. He is Jewish, too. He can say he's not, but he totally is.

Having just watched it all I can say is that I wish the Louis that did the episode on the black nationalists had done this one, he's too old and serious now and seems to have lost the likability that he had that.

I always loved observing the internet talking head community. Then I got bored and let my eyes wander away from them. Now I come back to a pleasant surprise.

I'm glad things have only gotten worse. It's like finding out the kid who huffed glue and ate bugs in middle school wound up arrested trying to rob a laundromat.

The three minute preview completely sells me. I need to sit down and watch this first episode. Louis's traditionally dry and flat narration can only add to it.

I've always admired Louis Theroux and his ability to not bring his own agenda into the situations where he interviews strange individuals and groups, that was sorely missing in this episode.
These individuals, like most horrifying individuals Louis interviews are perfectly capable of digging their own grave without Louis pushing the BBC agenda on them constantly.
While none of them made persuasive points I agree with, even a broken clock is right twice per day, so I can understand a couple of the points they're making.
I don't think the documentary showed enough footage of their arguments to justify the conclusions Louis condemned them for.


I'm looking forward to the next episode, it would be hilarious beyond hope if it was about twitter slacktivists but Jan 6th is a far better guess.

ngl I'm more interested in the other two upcoming episodes in this series, mainly to compare them with similar episodes he made during Weird Weekends about the same subject matter (gangsta rap and porn).

I guess this episode would lend itself similar comparison as above; after all Louis has made docos about white supremacists and white supremacy related things before (such as his first South Africa doco). Although it's fair to say that the white supremacy movement isn't exactly sending their best at the moment; none of this lot are exactly Eugene Terreblanche, are they?

Will be interesting to see how true some of the rumblings ITT are relating to this being one of Louis' weaker efforts.
