My username's Sanic. I lost my account information because I'm dumb. Sorry for posting this here, but is there someone who could help me reset everything?

RIP Sanic, he went too fast.

No but really, that sucks ass. Hope a mod's on.

I am praying for your resurrection @Sanic!

Thanks everyone. False alarm though, lol. Found the password saved on my old laptop, which is literally cracked in half and has blackness overtaking most of the screen. It's not fit for this world.

Ayyyy, welcome back bud.

I write down my passwords in a book, over 40 of them too. I also store the book of passwords up in my closet because anything can happen on a laptop or phone. So keeping them stored on a book will be easier to manage than having it stored on an old device.

Sounds like a good idea. Thanks, I'll be sure to do that from now on.

I do that too, but then I lock my book in a safe built into the wall behind a painting.

That old "do not write passwords down" guideline is meant for rats in a cubicle farm. Where the next guy can get you fired if he manages to login to your account.

For the lone guy in his mum's basement, ie, for all kiwis, writing them down is the way to go.

Save passwords in browser. Do not get into the habit of entering them every so often.

When you do have to enter a password - any password - scrutinize the hell out of that login page.
