Lost Artworks - With traces of evidence. Post artwork you cannot find anywhere else on the internet.

Unfortunately there has been many instances of Artwork being lost media. Either the author gets banned from the website or deletes their own account or deletes some of their artwork. This thread is to share information of artists whose works have been lost or artwork you have saved from being lost media entirely. I'll provide a few examples.

You can find these black and white photos of those artwork by Caspar David Friedrich but the colored paintings have been burned in a fire completely lost to humanity, although they may be just as desaturated.

A cute anime picture that I saved from being almost entirely lost media. The artist cleared most of it's art catalogue from the internet which is a shame because many of it's artworks have been lost so far. This is one of my favorite works. So much so I own two shirts with this design. I know many anime artists on twitter don't like their artworks reposted in fear someone would milk off of stolen artworks which is really unfair. But there is absolutely nothing harmful about saving an artwork from being completely lost.

A cute pixel art drawing of Spring Bonnie from FNAF. I saw it on someone's YouTube profile picture years ago and never again. I tried to find it again several times but no trace. Also, it feels very sad to know that I have lost lots of my own drawings (both digital and traditional), I remember what some looked like.

I realized Archive.org has archived basically every tweet that was ever put on this website since I don't know when but I was ecstatic because I finally found the picture I was looking for for months. The Author deleted it in September last year because he was unsatisfied with it and planned to redraw it.

It's basically null when he finds out certain people cannot access the site for unknown reasons.

It was a trip to hell and back but I finally found that artwork from a twitter artist who was suspended from the website by the end of 2021 or start of 2022.

I've got a bunch of oekaki art that no longer exists because those sites were deleted.

A lot of shit art since tablets weren't the norm back then, but many artists had their own unique styles because art wasn't so prevalent back then. There was healthy community, people communicated with each other, commented on art, collaborated, and helped each other grow. Nowadays, art communities are cesspools of drama and repetitive styles. I miss the old days.

MisterObvious Dies (an animation about the cops busting in a pedofiles house with a mixture of both roblox and 2d animation)
A dark (but tame by todays standards) animation about a kid befriending a turkey and then his father killing said turkey and said kid has ptsd because he befrieded the turky

This is another one I saved. The artist deleted that picture, It was probably a WIP of the finished product. Someone compared her to Gouhara Yui from Pieta.

Sometimes I even save random advertisements from being lost.

The original resolutions of these artwork is now gone, here's a low res. I thought I could archive individual tweets of twitter artists to preserve them but it's getting harder.

I saved the good ones. The artist has unfortunately trooned out leading to wasted potentials.

Found this on 4chan but I believe it was originally posted on DeviantArt. It's fanart of SapphyDracases's OC Sapphirus. It has a signature but I've been looking for the original artist for years with no results.

Despite the sheer ugliness of the design, the artist has some talent and understanding of anatomy and detail.
