Looksmaxxers are so embarrassing, man. I'm not the most confident person w. regards to my looks and I admire people that actively work on bettering themselves through effort, but even I can see the pathetic, insecure little boys behind the plastic surgery and the wigs.

So fake and gay, in multiple ways.
 
While I was never into this stuff, years ago I was close friends with someone who fell down the rabbithole in its early days (he pretended he was only "ironically" following it, but you know how it is on the internet..) and I'll admit some of the jawline stuff he blathered on about rubbed off onto me a little. There is SOME credibility to the fact that yeah, some people are genetically more attractive. But the blowing up of all this looksmaxxer stuff as of late has really exposed just how ridiculous and... unapologetically GAY all of this crap really is and how horrible all of the people behind it are. All we really need as humans is a healthy, functional body and a decent personality, and anything can happen. It's possible to accomplish everything that looksmaxxers strive for without destroying your genitelia and sinking in hundreds of dollars for medication and surgery and etc.

What I hope is that the pushback against looksmaxxing doesn't reverse Gen Z's/Millenial's newfound consciousness towards health and fitness and throw the world back into the dark realms of body-positivity/fat pride/"ugly is good" shtick again. I think it's terrible that a movement that could have had potential for masculine self-improvement has ended up the way it has.

over time they'll probably develop and refine their methods, over the top shit like bone smashing and roid abuse might decline or even be phased out, but the general superficiality will stay, simply because it works, it's a winning move.
 
I was able to trace the wig to the dealer that sold it to him.

Fellow baldy here: Wet shaved looks shit in 9 out of 10 guys, buzz cut on lowest setting on whatever hair clippers you use is where it's at. Getting hair plugs never crossed my mind either, people seriously need to learn to cope. I never even realized how bad motherfuckers are taking hair loss until i hit my mid-30s and heard virtually all of my male friends bitching like a bunch of women over it, never has been an issue i worried about for me.

Yeah I mean not everyone looks good taking it all the way down, I'm fortunate enough to have a good head shape for it so I prefer it.
It is wild how insecure guys are about that shit, but like I said, if it would've started earlier than my 30s who knows? Maybe I would've been more insecure about it.
