Yes, that is right, this scum really submitted a false CSAM cyber tip because someone stated the truth that medical photos of mastectomy scars are not automatically CSAM. Actual lunacy, and this guy is a major defender of lolicon as well. He is a big reply guy constantly defending lolicon and dunking on le antis. But here he is making false reports and wasting resources that are meant to tackle real-life cases of CSAM.
Also, in his screenshot, he shows the link to NEVER GOON's tweet. A tweet that csdavis747 considers to be CSAM and is falsely reporting as such.
I want to address the claim of the mastectomy scars from minors. For context, here is the quoted post that is being screenshotted.
When posting pictures of underage girls showing off their mastectomy scars, censor the nipples, just out of caution. I know they're posting it to fucking Facebook and shit but we have to operate under different rules than the rest of the world.
First off, minors showing mastectomy scars is not CSAM as long as it's not created or consumed in a sexual context. Also, censoring such photos still doesn't make them CSAM.
To claim such non-sexual medical photos of mastectomy scars as "CP" is such a disservice to the actual categorization of CSAM. First off, it's not "CP," that is an outdated and incorrect term. The correct terms are CSAM and CSEM. To imply these medical photos are equivalent or in the same umbrella as actual disgusting material that displays child sexual abuse is such a downplaying comparison. Misusing the terms of CSAM to include non-sexual medical photos is disrespectful to actual cases of child abuse.
Something else that is sort of similar is that you can find a lot of famous photographs of wartime atrocities. A lot of these photos may include dead children and nude children. A famous example is the Napalm Girl from the Vietnam War. It's a photo of Vietnamese children running naked after a napalm strike hit them. The image shows a naked girl, but despite that, it's not considered CSAM. Because there is no sexual context, and the context is showing wartime atrocities. Context always matters in photos such as these.
In modern discussions, such similar wartime atrocities are being posted and discussed on the Internet. Wars such as the events in Gaza, Ukraine, Africa, and many more. There are so many images and videos of dead or injured children coming from these conflicts. Some of this material may show children being naked, much like Napalm Girl. These videos and images are documenting war crimes, which may be used as evidence. Such content is horrifying and gross, but it can be protected speech since it has documentary, journalistic, and historic purposes
Mastectomy scars of children can serve a similar purpose in documenting and criticizing these types of surgeries that happened to minors. In addition to that, the image of such scars serves a medical purpose. There is no sexual context with these photos. Yes, such images may be shocking, much like the war crime images, but both can serve a journalistic purpose, as long as they are not used for sexual purposes. Due to this context, such images are protected speech/expression in most countries.
These people falsely declaring such stuff as CSAM don't understand what they are talking about, or they are intentionally trying to do a rhetorical gotcha. Either that, or some of them may be self-reporting on themselves at how they instantly think of something sexual whenever they see a medical photo showing the surgery result of a child.
And finally, if they truly believe these images are CSAM, why are they sharing the link to the thread for where you can find this alleged CSAM?
Under their logic, wouldn't they be sharing CSAM?
