Donal made a three and a half minute YouTube video about why he left twitter. A
Here's a summary:
-Starts off by saying the account will be deactivated for the foreseeable future
-Made it because he was depressed and had lost everything in VR chat (lol)
-An additional reason was to socialize (lol)
-Says his twitter account became a persona "that became angry, confrontational and perforative. Maybe even a little manipulative." and it was "exhausting"
-Claims lolicons attacked him for being anti-pedophilia and the lolicons brought the stigma on themselves
-Says that "almost none of what they [Kiwifarms] posted is correct"
-Donal brings up that they stopped streaming days before the dox (this apparently proves it's a fail dox or something)
-Kiwifarms can only slightly stress him out
-He's not the person her pretends to be on twitter
-"My community is not on x" (over 10k compared to just over 1k on YouTube)
-Donal is better than everyone else, because he has grown
It's hard to prove how much stress Donal was under, but on the night of the dox Dontal got at most 4 and a half hours of sleep, probably less, which doesn't make much sense if he was unaffected. (Thanks @Gibs for the screenshots. Also there's a small typo it's 7:00 am not pm.)

It's genuinely frustrating when you're someone who just finds a lot of characters which get classified as "loli" platonically cute and have to sift through countless gooner art just to find regular cute art of those characters. Sours my mood instantly whenever it happens. It ranges from "Why are you like this?" when I see Tanya from Youjo Senki being lewded to "I genuinely want you killed" when I see characters like Nanako from Persona 4 lewded.
It's not even that you can filter by SFW art, often even SFW art sexualizes certain characters to some degree. It's really hard to find a perfectly innocent bit of art like that.
