Against my better judgement to bump this thread but unbelievably the show is still going and I must rant.
I'm not going to bury the lead - last episode they used the SOUND EFFECTS that are added to the show to trace a villain. Like, you know how in this show they add big whooshing noises to swords, punches and kicks have impact sounds that they wouldn't in real life - all that folio stuff that is just for the audience's benefit? They had Beast Boy wave a sword through the air and had the Batcomputer analyse the whooshing sound effects to reconstruct the villain's moves. I have seen the Fourth Wall broken but never in both directions so the characters could use audience clues to help them.
This is the level of stupid we are dealing with here. Through sheer inertia and being too ill to do anything remotely taxing, I have watched most of Season 3. They're doing Death in the Family / Red Hood with a twist of Scarecrow.
Scarecrow is, ironically, the least scary villain they have ever had on the show. He looks like a young Richard Stallman,

They should get actual Richard Stallman. Would be more fun.
To be fair to the actor, he's probably fine. It's just a terrible interpretation of the character. Never wears his mask, either!
This show is so stupid. Starfire remains a truly obnoxious person, lecturing other people on killing when she literally gets a pass on killing criminals, cops and pretty much anyone she feels like, this week. She beats up Beastboy and then laughs it off as a joke, she breaks her sister out of a government facility (where she is confined for being a murderous alien with contempt for human life) and threatens to emasculate by fire the poor guard who politely asks her not to. She also has routine psychotic episodes where she attacks people. But that's fine, apparently. Frankly, all the characters in this show are horrible people except for Beast Boy and Super Boy who are largely treated as background plot conveniences. I don't think one person is convincingly written and the plot hangs together by fuse wire. Jason Todd has been murdering people. He literally wired a bomb in Hawk's chest and blew him the fuck up right in front of his wife. And the team are debating whether or not he should be let back into the team. None of this makes sense.
The single most relatable and likeable character in the entire show so far, has been a sewer worker who mistaking Scarecrow for a homeless person gave him his pudding pot.
I am not kidding. I liked him more than any other character.
This show is like Batwoman with a higher budget. It has people in it who can actually act, but they're not allowed to so far as I can tell. Somebody should get J Longbone to do a reaction series to this but she's suffering enough with Batwoman.
