Special shout out to the trad wives’ trend, remember choosing to be a trad wife and being forced to be a trad wife or risk jail are two very different things.
I know you’re thrilled to be able to practice your values under the watchful eye of your lord and masters, the very idea of not being able to vote, get a credit card or a loan is sending shivers of joy down where your spines have been removed, it’s probably the closest you’ll get to having a real O.
Playing trad wife is a choice, doing your little TikTok’s showcasing your lack of culinary and cleaning skills. That’s your right. You’re FREE to do so. The Key word is is FREE. Have 1 kid, have 10 kids, be a homemaker or a career woman… you are free to choose. So far.
Once choice is removed though and this lifestyle is forced unto you, you will discover it’s not nearly has fun as you’d imagine to have no voice, no say, no choice in your own life. After all it was women who were trad wives who marched for equal rights. It seems you think they fought in vain.
Already now in certain states the SAVE act is being considered. This will mean you will not be able to vote if you’ve taken your husband’s name in matrimony because it no longer matches your birth certificate even though your change has been legally documented and recorded. What else may you not be able to do now that your names do not match? Get a credit card, get a loan, buy a car, buy a house, hell even get a job. But then you can take care of that dozen of children you plan ot have…. As long as ill fortune doesn’t befall your lord and master.
I’m sure you’ve not given a single thought (because let’s face it you have none) to what it actually means to be a real trad wife, probably you think it’s something akin to the Amish role of women… you’d be wrong. You should have listened to all those talking points the right have been floating around and are starting to take root. What will you tell your 10 year old daughter when she hits puberty and is considered by that criteria to be of marriageable age? What will you say when your lord and master decides to marry her off to some 40 year old man? While thinking of a useless answer, remember one of the conditions of being a trad wife is that you have no say in anything.
I can guarantee (I think) that you won’t be stoned on the public place for speaking out of turn or some other transgression, but home beatings are in your future and there will be no legal recourse for you, there probably won’t even be any medical assistance. Who takes property to the hospital?
Actually you will be worse off than property, a man will after all repair a car or take it to the shop, you won’t merit such high treatment. Cosplaying a trade wife may have been fun, after all you had freedom in case things turned badly, but believe me being a trad wife with no freedom is hardly the same thing.

- Obey your husbands, if you don’t have husbands obey your fathers, if you don’t have fathers obey your brothers, or uncles, cousins, if you’re alone in the world just obey the nearest man around. This might be a bit hard on those of you whose parents are woke but rules are rules.
- If you have girls, remember to take out an announcement in the papers to broadcast the fact that they are now of marrying age, as they are now menstruating. Now again, some girls menstruate as young as 7 (I’ve even heard of 5) but thems are the rules.
- If you find that your mind strays toward learning and facts, advise your lord and master at once, so he may procure you a brain-eating worm.
- Once pregnant please prepare a substitute to care for your children and husband should you die in childbirth, it is the only logical thing to do.
- It is your duty to submit to any kind of physical abuse your lord and master deems necessary with or without reason. Make sure that if you bleed, you clean the mess you’ve made. A proper trad-wife’s house is always clean.
- Though you’ll have no medical assistance it falls upon you to keep yourself healthy at all times. And should you fall sick do not disturb your lord and master with your ill-advised illness. Suffer in silence and keep working, if you have children (girls) they may help you with your duties.
