Yea they're right there's no reason to include both the 7800 and 9800x3d. There's no reason to test the 250k plus either it'll just be like the 270k but a bit worse. Actually there's no reason to test them either it'd be easier to just include the ratings intel themselves provide. Just have a chart with like an old idk an i3 550 and a 9800x3d, I know that my cpu will be somewhere in the middle of those and it'll be so much more readable that way.

Sadly its unobtanium. the msrp is $200, but the supply of them is dog shit. I dont think i've ever seen them on stock in the past few years. Ebay resellers are selling them for $300, which at that point it was better to just bite the bullet and get a zen5 x3d cpu with a new motherboard at the same price and get 32gb of ram for like $100, but obviously thats not around anymore.
reputable sellers on aliexpress with frequent coupons, check there. I'd go with 5700x3d though, two extra cores = more longevity
You can still pull of a half acceptable purchase if you're lucky enough to live near a Micro Center or fast enough to grab one of Newegg's CPU/mobo/RAM bundles. There's a 9850X3D in-store-only bundle with 32GB of DDR5 and a X870E motherboard I was eyeing at my closest Micro Center for around $750. Funny enough, I am looking at moving from a 5600X.
Was just checking prices for the 9800X3D and found an store with a 4.8 star rating selling it for 380€, with a 40$ coupon I found in /g/csg I could buy it for around 352€, it's really mindboggling how cheap you can get things shipped from the EU and sometimes my own country.
