LTT/LMG's content slop pipeline totally precludes doing any kind of serious long-form content; they don't even do proper hardware reviews anymore. But I would be fucking shocked if they(the company) don't have lots of partnerships with mid-size companies and couldn't easily work something out to have linus go and do a few interviews. Linus himself is and probably always has been a slop-churner, but seems to enjoy doing build videos so even something like having a look around a fab plant or design studio is probably something he could do if he had any interest in making content that isn't purely youtube algo manipulation.
Not to mention that its exceedingly unlikely they could engage in any of this subject responsibly. They know they're an entertainment brand at heart, so they'd have to try and make dry economic bullshit 'fun', and that only really leaves the avenue of political jokes.
