Ok so "terf" is a stupid-ass word used by stupid-ass people, but flying into a frothing rage at anything and everything to do with trans people is a bad look, honey. This isn't the first time or the first thread. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion to have on Kiwi, but I'm pretty sure that there are non-troony trans people who are not out to assault children or make gays look bad.
It's extremely likely that the school a) doesn't want to get sued by the kid's parents, b) wants to look extra progressive, and c) might want to get some news attention that leads to extra funding or whatever.
Or, d) it's all a fabrication by the person on twitter. It's also extremely likely that the assembly was just about generalized acceptance and anti-bullying rhetoric, and the teachers were just given a refresher on sensitivity training, and in order to whip up some likes and retwats, "root" spun it around to make her little sister the school's new celebrity.

This is the worst part for me at least. Everyone has to walk on eggshells when dealing with trannies to the point that they have to go under special training probably so they dont say something wrong and get sued.
