That's one of the signifiers that someone's the worst type of person.
Shit like liking children's media well into your 20s (Harry Potter, Cartoon Network cartoons), being a fan of Dr. Who, being a feminist, using internet memes in regular conversation, dabbing, having a snapchat, steam punk, being obsessed with the zombie apocalypse and thinking it is not only possible but they would survive in it, etc.

It's an item they carried over from 1970s hippies. Basically, the SJWs think: "Hippies were, like, progressive, and we are progressive, so we obviously are like hippies. Let's appropriate their culture."
(What they don't get is that hippies didn't slack off on youtube/tumblr/twitter/etc. all day but got out, traveled the world, smoked weed and had sex [lots of it] plus occasionally made an useful invention or two.)

It seems the high point in her career so far has been posting an article on Business Insider about getting trolled by /pol/.
