The conservative Lincoln Project launched a parody ad for the drug ivermectin on Tuesday, mocking anti-vaxxers and supporters of former president Donald Trump for using the unproven "horse dewormer" to treat COVID-19.

The narrator in the 90-second spot, called "Ivermectin," states that the "FDA-approved vaccine might not be the right choice for those who are allergic to reality."

With a horse whinnying in the background, the narrator adds that ivermectin is the best treatment for "real patriots," encouraging people to "say neigh to the FDA and take matters into their own hooves."

However, the ad warns that people shouldn't take ivermectin if they're "wearing (their) good pants" — referring to widespread reports that it's causing anti-vaxxers to "poop themselves."

"Side effects can include uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea, the inability to pronounce Kamala Harris' name or a sudden urge to speak to the manager," the ad states. "Some patients taking ivermectin have reported hallucinations of lizard people in the halls of Congress, and in rare cases finding Joe Rogan's podcast helpful and/or informative. Call your doctor if you begin to experience delusions of grandeur about the supremacy of your race. Homicidal thoughts or actions toward your elected representatives can occur without warning."

The ad concludes by encouraging people to "join the herd and talk to your large animal veterinarian about ivermectin today."

"Or don't, because you're not a f*cking sheep," the narrator states.

I thought they disappeared after it turned out they were a bunch of kid diddlers?

Also who exactly does the Lincoln Project actually appeal to? The only people I ever saw shit posting their stuff was the far left MSNBC crowd. Not exactly winning anyone over.

Nobody fucking spoke to you.

If I wanted the opinion of little boy connoisseurs, I would ask for it.

Pretty sure their entire mo is to get a paycheck by appearing on leftist media as the token "noble" conservative. The only people who listen to them are big business warhawks cuckservatives.

It's so true though. I listen to a lot of conservative podcasts, and they don't praise ivermectin nearly as much as the MSM claims they do. The furthest they say is that it seems to be effective at treating symptoms of COVID-19. The inventors of it won a fucking Nobel Peace Prize for it.

They bash it by going "Durr it's horse dewormer, durr" because they've never heard of using medication off-label or repurposing medication. For the WE WUV DA SCIENCE crowd they seem to have very little understanding of science.

I can't wait for these cultists to start dropping in a few years because it turns out that their precious "Fauci Ouchie" gives them ADE and other medical issues.

There's something poignant about how these people keep deriding people for not listening to the science while desperately trying to avoid talking about what the science says.

I find Ivermectin a bit sketchy, but the idea of protein inhibitors or whatever kinda makes sense, yet I never see the people wanting to mock Ivermectin address it. Which makes those trying to mock anyone look like dumbasses that get all their 'science' from TV when they don't even know what conversations are happening.

Ivermectin is cheap, ubiquitous, and effective for covid prophylaxis and treatment. It's easy to dose from the horse paste into gelatin capsules if you have two brain cells to rub together. I've been taking the FLCCC recommended dose for each exposure I've had while I watch those around me who get covid, most of them vaxxed, go to the kike doctor and get sent home with nothing but the prospect of suffering with their symptomatic viral loads and spreading it to their family. I have no intention of changing my own personal prophylaxis protocol, which also includes a strict diet, supplementation regimen, and exercise, because it appears to work and there's been a complete absence of ill-effects. Shit like this just smugs me the fuck up, especially coming from stinky-ass chimos. Keep getting your maybe-effective(-for-now) boosters and your free Krispy Kremes, because it's really working out for you.

This ivermectin hysteria is, ironically, extremely reminiscent of basically every historically famous anti-science movement. They all follow the same pattern:
  1. New discovery is made
  2. "That's impossible because the establishment hasn't told me to believe it yet"
  3. Evidence mounts in favor of discovery
  4. Establishment begins figurative and literal character assassinations
  5. "You see? If they're so smart why are they so famous for being stupid and dead?"
  6. Evidence eventually becomes impossible to deny
  7. "I always knew it was real. I've been a supporter since the beginning! I fucking love science!"
We're on step 5 right now. And by "we" I mean the west, because non-western countries are using Crazy Alt-Right Conspiracy Theory Pseudoscience™ to great success all around the world. Covid only seems to be ravaging first world countries who are too smart to be fooled into making any attempt to actually treat the disease.
