Lily has started describing himself as 'ace'. I thought he was a lesbian? Late react me if necessary, but is the ace identity a recent adoption?
 
I never thought I'd see her go peak beta male. Quinton Reviews also recently did this - fail so hard at manipulating women to fuck you, that to save some face you pretend you didn't want them in the first place. It's a recent trend in male "ally" circles. It also heavily plays into the wolf-in-sheeps-clothing dynamic, as it's just another tactic to try to remove your threat level.

There have always been asexual people, but not many. I think I've only ever known one, and he was genuinely just not interested in sex with anyone. Mid 30s, still a virgin, not bothered about it at all. Oddly he's now a furry, go figure.

But yeah, as others have said I think these days the "kids" take asexual to mean "not getting laid". It's a face-saving measure. If you can't get anyone to fuck you then it doesn't sound so bad if you tell the world you didn't want to fuck anyway. Sad really.

There are people with an extremely low or non-existent libido, but they don't make up the majority of people who declare themselves asexual nowadays. The asexual larpers tend to do it for a multitude of reasons: they want to feel special, they're not getting laid, they think there's something wrong with them because they don't like hook up culture et cetera. In Liam's case, it's probably a combination of wanting to feel special (it gives him extra snowflake points) and not getting laid (no lesbians want his girl dick).
 
Possibility also he suspect more allegations of sexual misconduct are coming down the spike so he's put it in a a pre-emptive defence. "I wouldn't grope India Peploe at the Young Labour meeting, I'm asexual!"

Onision's been doing that lately, with all the allegations against him. He's basically saying "ugh, all these underage girls accusing me of molesting them, when will they get the message I'm not interested". It's the old DARVO thing again; Deny Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.
