What puzzles me about this whole thing is the fact that he's 19 fucking years old and currently holds a pretty major position within a national political party. Say what you want about the Dems (and I'm no fan of them either), but I don't see them giving a major position in their party to a literal 19 year old kid ("trans" or not). The fact that he bullied out the former Womens' Officer was wild enough but then to literally take the place of the woman he bullied out? I don't understand the UK...

It's not the national party. It's the labour party for Rochester and Strood, which is one small constituency. Shows you how bloated the local party aparatus is if they have enough fucking room for a Women's officer as well as supporting the candidates and councillors.

Not quite. Ruzylo resigned from the post because of incessant bullying by Van Der Meer and more specifically because the Regional management failed to do anything about it so the rest of the committee resigned in solidarity. Madigan is not in the same branch of the Labour Party and didn't take over Ruzylo's post but did succeed against a female opponent in getting elected to the same post in a different branch. He's been lucky so far, he's mostly been pissing off women who are more likely to pull their punches ie. the woman who got kicked out of the party asking people not to make 'mean' memes about him. But frankly at some stage the Labour party are going to find his presence embarrassing and will want to get rid of him.
I mean, he has had this political support served on a plate and is still managing to fuck up. England loves it some eccentric public figures (see John McCririck, Edith Sitwell, the Marquess of Bath and up until Pedogeddon Jimmy Saville) but between the bad taste tweets he blamed on his brother, the incel best mate who got him the job and is threatening suicide and self-harm on twitter, the attempted silencing of anyone that hurts his fee-fees and especially appearing on national television with a quivering lip dressed like a colourblind chav toddler, who in the Labour party couldn't take one look at him and think 'this was a mistake.'
