Who else here is a huge fan of Letterkenny, the Crave/Hulu (if you're a Yank) exclusive?
For those not aware. Letterkenny is a sitcom created by and starring Canadian heartthrob Jared Keeso, a semi-autobiographical show about growing up in Listowell, Ontario, but set in the fictional town of Letterkenny, a backwoods as fuck town consisting of hicks, meth-cooking emos and jocks.
It's known for its fiery wordplay-based jokes, instant classic catchphrases and being relatable for a lot of people from Ontario. In fact, my dad is from Ontario, and he's outright told me he's surprised the show isn't basically a documentary.
Yeah, @Angel Baby Firefly recommended it once in chat so I gave it a watch. Really glad she did as I'd never heard of it. @Ponderous Pillock appreciates its too.

I'm obviously not a Canadian, but if that's what passes for a "heartthrob" in Canada, I'm *almost* as glad that I'm not a homosexual as I am glad that I'm not Canadian.
I can acknowledge that it's a well-written and acted show (the amount of memorization the actors for Reilly and Jonesy display honestly impresses me), I've grown to personally loathe it because of how the most annoying quips/jokes seem to be the ones I hear most often from my brother-in-law's parroting fuckin' mouth.
I find certain bits funny as hell, which makes me wish it was more of a miniseries and they didn't turn it into an actual show. The skits are great; I couldn't care less about the storyline for most of the episodes. Also I wish my brother-in-law wasn't annoying as fuck about quoting it.
I really like the first season. Love it. Watch that shit almost anytime. Has an arc, wraps it up. Solid comedy gold throughout. Only got however far into the second season as when they introduced a guy who spoke only in rapid-fire auctioneer patter before I pressed Stop and found something else to do.

I'm not caught up yet, in season 4 right now, but it's better than other modern canadian comedy. My only real complaint is that as the show is basically broken down to rotating between the Farmers/Tweekers/Hockey, the Hockey part feels the weakest and I want to skip it after 30 seconds. I can sense they're running on fumes sometimes with the jokes when they go to the other teammates besides Reilly and Jonesy.
I'm also waiting for the other shoe to drop in terms of seemingly mandatory canadian television diversity plotlines.
I say do it. Seasons 5 and 6 especially are pretty damn fantastic. Even when the show is at its worst (Seasons 4 and 7), it's still infinitely better than a lot of "comedy".
