Conversation about Leslie Jones I had with my dad ...
Me: "When I went to the movies a few months ago, a trailer for the new Angry Birds movie was shown. There was a character talking all throughout the trailer, and then when Leslie Jones' name came up in the credits, I almost burst out laughing. I honestly thought that bird was voiced by a MAN until I saw her name."
My Dad: "I took [insert family member's name here] to see that movie last weekend. That character was voiced by a woman?!"
I wonder how that will go over with the woke types, considering they insist no one should ever make any rape joke for any reason. Old school Eddie Murphy type humor to them should be what Harry Potter is to fundies, because it's pretty much the anti-thesis of woke.
Sad. Because rape is hilarious. Actually the mere idea of anyone raping Leslie Jones. Because lmao that would never happen. Try to imagine anyone even fucking that slut, much less raping her.

What’s funny is the low key shade Eddie throws at her while trying to remember wtf happened. Seriously he doesn’t remember sex he remembers a wild boar attacking him. I found that apt. She only has one setting and they literally could have made the movie better if they had gotten rid of her. But she does play true to what she is irl- loud, obnoxious, unfunny and thinks the world somehow owes her shit while overestimating how important she is.

This is pretty accurate. It lacked all the charm and humor of the first one. They shoehorned in damned near every black actor of note ever. And with all that talent it was still merely watchable once. I watched it twice actually just to make certain I didn’t miss something, and I didn’t. Its too busy, and in a lot of ways stupid (nextdooria? Really?) the only laughs were unintentional. Anyway I’m not good at reviews. This movie didn’t need to be made.
