I've lived in cities, suburb, and the country: they each have their own pros and cons. With that said, I also don't understand why suburbs get so much hate, especially from progressives. They often use the term "suburb" as some kind of insult like I'm supposed to be ashamed of being white and living in a small town. Forgive me for not paying several thousand a month for some shithole apartment in the ghetto.

I've really grown a distaste for Lessons in Meme Culture. I don't understand why he hasn't got the backlash Meme Theory did... it's very similar in it's pointless reading Know You Meme content, but instead of being bland as dish water he does something worse in my opinion - trying to contextualize and over-analyze memes with his stupid normie outlook instead of sticking to facts. The first one I watched ever really set the tone... on the topic of the "don't turn me into a marketable plushie" meme he threw in a dumb spiel about how it's about people hating capitalism, man! The other few I've bothered to watch had similar unrelated BS in them.

It's really a shame the best content looking at memes was Fantano's Thatistheplan channel... and now he is a raging cuck. However, I guess memes also just don't have the reverence they did in 2016 so they are just rotting flesh ripe for parasites like LiMC without the advocates of their purity like in the past.

I think it's because people went way too hard on Behind the Meme got a scare when he did the whole "did behind the meme planning to kill himself" cryptic videos. Emp apologized for it and it might be way people are more weary about being that autistic over fucking memes. I mean it really was overblown hatedom and he didn't deserve it.
Thread tax: I might have to join the Critikal bandwagon. For me, he seems to be like Idubbbz and Metokur but lacking the charm and having it replaced with Seth Rogen sex/weed humor. I don't see the appeal to it and I think him practically being considered "moist jesus" gives him an ego in an Idubbbz/Metokur idea of "if a video is made, watch out". He's mediocre at best and I think I heard that he was better when he didn't show his face and was depressed, but I can't make a say in regards to that, but I will say he's overrated.

Well, over the past Sub-Decade of Hell, I found myself unsubscribing from a fair few channels. Ones that come to mind are:
Anyone associated with #ChangetheChannel - Mad raving SJWs with egos the size of moons.
TheAngryJoeShow - They do good content, and I like that the people involved are sticking to their guns regarding Kurtzman's Reign of Fucking Terror, but their REALLY shit take on the Disney/Gina Carano incident got me unsubbing.
MisAnthro Pony - Obsessive Anti-SJW, perpetually angry, goes after people over Star Wars, keeps dedicating videos to his enemies, went after another Youtuber named Cartoonshi with a sockpuppet account and also a Helluva Boss fan. A true piece of work.
Crash Thompson - Started perfectly fine, even if he made his political preferences very clear in select videos. Then in 2020 after his rebranding, he made a video about how this female politician died and how "she was preventing the US falling into fascism" and I IMMEDIATELY unsubbed. Someone me and another moderator talked about in voice chat on Discord.
Rocked - Also started fine, but his Far-Left politics were slowly coming into the screen in select videos, culminating in a "Worst Political Songs" video where he placed Aaron Lewis on the list calling him (and presumably other conservatives) out for being anti-woke culture. I got the hell out of dodge, he featured my negative comment in a "Dear Negative Viewer" livestream, and he became a Lolcow that I and the Discorder discussed on our voice chat.

And that's all specific I can think of. Others include Obsessive Anti-SJWs and other 'tubers gone woke. Basically, if you want to keep viewers, don't say something stupid and wreck your rep in the eyes of certain people! Unless your woke, in which case, good day.

I subscribed to his channel a long time ago and would occasionally check in on his videos, and found them okay at best but nothing special. To be frank, I honestly felt bad for the guy since his channel was stagnant and barely has had any growth since the Channel Awesome days. His presentation and demeanor is definitely lolcow-ish, but again, I just figured he was a goofball. I didn't bother with his video on political music because I anticipated an anti-Aaron Lewis circlejerk based on the comments. Has he said anything particularly far-left otherwise, though? I don't keep with him as much, and I don't know where he stands on social media, so I have no idea if he's like Fantano levels of leftoid spergery.

If you want to see someone who does that shtick better in 2022, Possum Reviews has consistent quality, but he does shove in pointless skits. They are pretty short and decently comedic though.

I've heard that vigilantism rarely results in any convictions because its not admissible as evidence because its not part of an official investigation. I would find it hilarious if all this posturing and theatrics led to a big nothing burger. Also his bullshit probably interferes more with actual investigations than they help. Imagine investigating a pedo ring and some faggot on YouTube blows it up and ruins everything. Chris Hansen particularly avoided this by directly working with law enforcement, and even he had some slip through because their operation wasn't done correctly.

Now with this big "Pick a Side Youtube" shows how big his god complex has gotten. That's straight textbook delusions of grandeur thinking just because he has an audience and does good things means he can command people with bigger channels to join his side against the big bad boogieman for the horrible crime of removing his videos. As if that doesn't happen to anyone else.

Also there was his copycat, a Hindu guy, can't remember the name of his channel, he even had thumbnails in the same style as Sunny.

I like SunnyV2 but I agree with your criticism of him, though the reason I like his content is because it's a good introduction to a person and if I find it interesting I can look up other sources that cover the person more in depth.

I'm skeptical about Joon the King, something about him makes me think he'll go full screeching liberal sooner than later.
