Maybe she's just another Laur sock. Laur used to run a bunch of insta account pretending to be different "fans" of Lillee Jean, all with different stereotypes (like the black woman, the gay boy, and the Muslim girl)... What's stopping her from pretending to be a lolyer?

While I wouldn’t put impersonating an officer of the court past Laur, I looked up Lawyer Jasmine and she’s a real lawyer who specializes in evictions and wrongful foreclosures. She’s only been licensed since 2022 so she’s still practically a baby lawyer. Poor Jasmine just wanted to help average people stay in their homes and made the terrible mistake of accepting Laur as a client.

I think she's asking for 60 days this time. The 30 days was in january.
All this nonsense of course needs to be denied, because laur was pro se all along. And the case is closed anyway. If this would work she could just keep switching lawyers and ask for a stay so the lawyer can read up on the case.

If she discharged Jasmine in late Jan/Feb then why is Jasmine having to file this shit now? It's been months and theoretically Jasmine has nothing to do with any of this anymore?

This entire email has Laur trying on different conspiracies and stalling tactics to avoid her legal responsibility to pay rent and move out. She told her lawyer to "use" the fact that she paid a small part of her rental arrears to falsely claim that her debt was fully satisfied? Told her lawyer she was calling the cops nightly to have her internet haters arrested, and to tie this somehow to her eviction case?
My favorite thing in this email is that broke ass Laur trying to use a rental agent like it's 1998, as if that will circumvent the fact that she's bankrupt and on her second back-to-back eviction.
ETA: in addition to screaming at her unpaid former attorney to remove herself from the initial housing court case in order to gain yet another 60 day stay, Laur was also filing ALL CAPS nonsense to Judge Greenberg just this morning. Yah gotta vacate this wahrant for eviction, yah honah!

I'm not sure if it's the same for civil cases but criminal cases need the attorney to file a motion to withdraw.
Can't wait to see where this goes. Either she's spending alleged rent money on an attorney or she's impersonating an attorney to try and delay the inevitable. I'm going with impersonation.

I do agree with that, because this bitch is crazy, (and ugly too, just like its goblin spawn). And it does not make sense for the lawyer to file this when laur is wanting those $650 back. And IIRC there was a previous filing where this lawyer said "fuck this shit, I'm out".
However, I have no knowledge of how this ECF system works, and how the digital signing works.

Do we know if the judge actually allowed her to withdraw? There are some scenarios when a judge forces a poor attorney to see a case to the end...perhaps when everyone is aware a client is a nutter and the end result is 100% certain.

The state civil Supreme court declined the motion to withdraw, because Laur filed the action pro se - meaning, there was nothing in his court for Jasmine to withdraw from.
The appellate court noted that Laur's lawyer was still on the record as her representative in housing court, and therefore rejected Laur's appellate case since she filed pro se. This basically kicked the case back down to housing court (where Laur was already told six times to gtfo, exhausting all stays.)
Now, Laur has been screaming at Jasmine to withdraw herself from the housing court case so Laur can demand another sixty day stay (ostensibly to hire new counsel.) So on retaliation, Jasmine filed all of Laur's proposed fraud schemes in her plea to withdraw.

Nope this is new! The housing court judge has rejected Laur's / Jasmine's scam to get another 60 day stay from housing court, and declared there will be no more stays - though the judge said Jasmine can go ahead and file a discharge letter.
It's happening tomorrow! I do so hope Laur calls the cops on the landlord and marshal again, only to be arrested for attempting to drive away without valid license or insurance when it finally sinks in that they are homeless car campers.

I just cannot comprehend how they have dragged an eviction for non-payment of rent since 9/2023. This poor landlord has been stuck with them for nearly 3 years since they paid a single penny, my God. I understand strong tenant protections and backed up dockets, but this is batshit crazy, and Laur is a top-tier level of tard for not using those 33 months to find a new place, because they never will, now.

It's quarter after 11 in Queens, and Laur hasn't filed another document in any court. Will the Dwarven goblins abscond before dawn? Or will they go fighting onward, in public, on bodycam come the dawn?
You know Laur hasn't renewed her license, paid for car insurance, or kept their stolen vehicle registered. If caught car camping, the vehicle will vehicle impounded and the Truemans will have to scuttle into the sewers where they belong.

This is my opinion. She looks like an Aryan clone of her mother, so it was only a matter of time until her youthful metabolism left her. God knows she doesn't work out or watch what she eats at all.
It worked for Sarah Boone. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Laur looks up to her as her main inspiration.
