I liked the first season quite a bit. They seemed to be bigger on the whole investigative reporting/comedy thing then and that was a good niche to fill.

The 'sanitized liberal outrage over current event of the week' schtick is why I can't stand the Daily Show, and it's a shame to see Last Week Tonight go down the same path.

I agree. I really liked their piece on poultry farmers, for example.

Yeah they started out okay, a bit low on the jokes though, but informative. Then they have turned into literally my Cousin going on a diatribe on Facebook for 2 pages about how outraged they are at something while dismissing the reality of the situation, counterpoints, and shutting down any and all discussion with some form of slander.

Why would I want to watch a show like that when it happens in real life already?
