Before he went home he said that this was the third time she had pushed him away when he tried to help her get her shit together.

I understand how she gained friendship given her the more platable aspects of her personality, but as to how she retains them, I literally have no clue.

Hoarders is one of those shows I don't think about for months or even years, then binge it after being reminded it exists. (An episode was filmed down the road from my childhood home. That was an interesting experience to say the least)
