Again, it really depends on the jury, and remember that the majority of them are white women.

Ok, Madison is in no way representative of the rest of the state. There are some pozzed areas, mainly where UW campuses are, but even then only to a degree. A good portion of the state is pretty red, and even a lot of the dems are gun owners. The governor may be a dem atm, but neither party can get a stranglehold on government. Also women being gun owners is not at all uncommon, and even among ones who don't, a fair amount have at least shot them, or have family who own them.

Well they would have wanted you to be a girl scout. Second he didn't cross state lines to play vigilante he worked in Kenosha, his dad lived in Kenosha, he practically lived there. Second should he have stayed home sure. So should have everyone there. Anyone there who wasn't a police officer or security had no place being in downtown Kenosha after 8pm. But that wasn't the case it was instead a suburban version of the LA riots.

Looking at this realistically speaking Kyle did nothing wrong for the situation he put himself in. Unfortunately Joeseph rosenbaum trying to "keep it real" ended up with him dead, another man dead, and one man without a bicep and another person who will never ever ever sleep the same ever again,

Unless it's a misdemeanor punishable by 1 year or more in jail, then he's liable to lose his gun rights; even if it's plead down/given time served to less than that. A "High Court" misdemeanor, as I've heard it called.

I know this is a joke but I'll take the opportunity to teach anyone here who might be interested in some Wisconsin history - after its founding as a state in 1848, only a single execution was ever performed before the death penalty was abolished in 1853. John McCaffary was an Irish immigrant who murdered his wife by drowning her in a cistern. After being convicted of willful murder by a jury and having his death warrant signed by the governor, McCaffary was hanged from a tree on August 21, 1851 in front of the courthouse and a crowd of two to three thousand people. Except here's where the trouble really set in - the hanging was botched, and McCaffary remained alive on the end of the rope, struggling for around twenty minutes while slowly being strangled to death. This slow, extremely unpleasant death in front of thousands directly led to the abolition of the death penalty in the state.

And where did this murder and following execution take place? Why none other than the newly incorporated town of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

I agree that we can't exactly read their minds, but there are a couple people in the gallery posting the jury's reactions during the trial. For at least some of the jurors, it seems Binger lost a lot of credibility with them.

In other news, the prosecution is likely going to try to get the jury to consider lesser charges against Kyle.
