The face of a coward who if things had slightly gone a bit more his way, would have murdered Kyle, and yeah, there would have been some 'news' about that at the time (Freedom Fighter Defends Himself From Right-Wing Militia Gun Nut), but it would all be forgotten now and Kyle would still be dead.

This trial is going to be problematic, no matter who wins.

But after today's shenanigans and outright mockery of the prosecution not just by the witnesses, but also the judge, I'm starting to think that Kyle might have a cat in hell's chance of not being ass-raped to hell and back again.

Chauvin shouldn't have got what he did. But not many are losing sleep over another thug cop. If Kyle gets that treatment, I think it will be a different matter, especially after today's goings on.

I know this is from a movie, but I think it helps illustrate how insane it was (if the story of Kyle's rifle malfunctioning is even true) to paint Kyle Rittenhouse as some kind of cold blooded murderer who attempted to shoot at Gaige Grosskreutz when he had his hands up. Just imagine the American soldier who shoots the surrendering Axis soldier as Kyle. The American and Axis troops were exchanging gunfire just before this. And Gaige was the one who decided to run right up to Kyle as he was in the process of shooting his attackers with a pistol in his hand. So even if Kyle was attempting to shoot Gaige, he still wouldn't be at fault.
