I'm just amazed the trial didn't end when Binger implied Kyle was guilty for invoking the 5th amendment. What an absolutely insane thing to say.

Judge did say that he wanted the trial to be decisive to leave no doubt to the american public, so he probably wants it to run its course to make sure to everybody that the state is literally making shit up to incriminate Kyle

How much of the trial have you watched out of interest? Because he has been nothing but dishonest, from having obviously coached witnesses, to a defence witness giving testimony that he tried to coerce him to alter his statement, to violating Kyle's 5th Amendment right, to trying to backdoor another argument that was agreed pre-trial to not be discussed without clearing it with the court.

Just how many chances is the judge going to give the prosecution at this point. We're well beyond the basic 3 strikes and your out concept introduced earlier.

If the juror is looking at a zoomed in image and trying to make inferences based on it they should ensure they are using the nearest neighbor algorithm

Even nearest neighbor is still a distortion as the original image viewed at its original size is not blocky. Sometimes you can see odd things in a nearest-neighbor upscaled image that you wouldn't see even in the original image even if you put your eye right up next to it. If the image can not be altered, then no resizing algorithm can be used.

Binger was wanting to do a "zoom and enhance" thing to try to show Kyle lifting his rifle and aiming it before the chase happened which could invalidate the self-defense argument bur the judge says they'd need to bring in an expert talk about the validity of it.
