Eeeeeh, it's a bit more complicated than that. He bought a gun, said it was for himself, but then immediately lent it away.
The rifle stayed at his house and Kyle only took possession of it briefly a few times. Black is what's called the "actual transferee" on a form 4473.

I can't see how he will be allowed to walk away without any kind of charge or something. Even if it's a token gesture. Not guilty for murder, guilty for brandishing a weapon or something, 2 years inside.

I know it's a little bit different, but the FBI wanted a stay of execution for Bundy, so that he could help build a psychological profile of serial killers. No judge would allow the stay, as it was too hot and too political and doing so would have ended their career/life.

This is a hot political issue.
Brandishing is not any of the charges presented. The Jury is not allowed to add additional charges.

Whyyyyyyy do we care what this bitch tweets? Why does she keep showing up in here? Is she famous or famous-adjacent in some way that we should care about?
Not much else to talk about while the jury talks things out. Might as well make fun of Twittertards.

OOOOOOOH NO! KYLEBROS! WE GOT TOO COCKY! THE JURY CAME BACK GUILTY ALL CHARGES THEY EVEN THREW IN THE GUN CHARGES AND CURFEW!

I agree, but Wisconsin law has that be a bit of a grey area legally.

Yeah if nothing else I could see them getting a perjury charge against Black. Personally I think its bullshit, but legally speaking they can fuck him with the letter of the law.

I was worried all day long about the jury's decision, I expected to come home to KF either celebrating Kyle's freedom or mourning the death of Justitia.
If I had come to find Kyle deemed guilty by the jury, I would not have been able to stomach the video of him suffering through that travesty of justice.

I am so goddamned worried about this poor kid. Is this long waiting time for the jury normal, does this bode ill or well? I assume no one knows that last one, could be 11 maniacs shouting down at the one sane person that refuses to send Kyle to jail for fighting off a pedo, a granny-beater and a burglar that wanted to kill him. Could be 11 sane people bearing down on the closed-mindedness of a lone idiot or soccer mom karen.

jfc. I can't take this.

There isn't a charge like that. The charges are all for murder, attempted murder and reckless endangerment and self defense is the defense for all of those charges. If the jury decides he acted in self defense he pretty much walks on all of them.
