When you haven't achieve what you wanted in life, how do you tell if its because you haven't tried hard enough, or its simply because you discover the limits of your abilities?

I've learned to be happy all I need to do is fulfill my animalistic urges sleep, eat, fuck, work, read, hobby, and be near nature not city. I'd consider myself enlightened.

Sometimes I think I'd be happier living in the woods, running on all fours eating wild rabbits and squirrels raw and howl at the moon.

When you're concerned about the fact you haven't achieved what you wanted in life, how do you tell if it's because you actually haven't achieved what you wanted in life, or if it's simply a temporary OCD-like obsessive fixation brought about by stress, isolation, and overall poor neurophysical health?

Perseverance and focus are traits in their own right and should be listed under "the limits of your abilities." If you were technically able to do something constructive but gave up because "it's too hard," it's because you lack perseverance. If you didn't do it because you got distracted in the moment, you lack focus.
You are what you do.

I don't necessarily mean this in a fatalist sense. You can improve. You can also readjust your focus to something more rewarding. And for the fuck of it I'll throw in a related blurb about how a lot of times, when something seems too difficult, it's because you're doing it wrong or it's something you probably shouldn't be doing it at all.
