Klutz does produce some activity books, but they mainly make activity kits for kids.
I appreciated the science activity books - Earthsearch, Explorabook, and Zap Science - in particular. These books gave me hours of education and enjoyment.
I was thinking of writing/designing a book the same way they did, but specifically for geology/paleontology, but I really don't think there's a market for it. I have ideas of touching on optical mineralogy and fluorescent minerals and fossils, not to mention cross-cutting relationships. The style of writing was top-notch in my opinion - it's what every writer who writes to children should imitate. Apparently, John Cassidy is responsible for all three. The magic, pranking, and juggling books were really fun as well!
What a nice job John did! It all started because he wanted to teach his students how to juggle.
