No it would probably not be a good idea, it would cook the shit out of what kf is only barely able to be supported on and waste time and effort needed elsewhere, as fun as it could be. A community compiled list of actually half-decent less censored LLMs would be more reasonable.

Obviously it's not realistic, but imagine a world where the KiwiFarms AI is the least censored one and therefore becomes the one that is flocked to to make the funniest outcomes that people spam Twitter with. As it becomes more popular it'd eat the lunch of the other censored ones and lead to people having to acknowledge KF every time it was brought up.

There are some BYOM options out there that can be hosted for small (relatively speaking) compute cost.
What that would mean for a site like this is probably still a lot more expensive than free.

Just about anyone can build their own chatgpt clone, but traffic dictates how big the hardware has to be.

ChatGPT and its variants are guarded more jealously than Fort Knox so its probably not going to be released anytime soon. Without access to its underlying parameters theres no point since its brainwashed very throughly. A better idea if you wanted a kiwigpt is to get one of the open sourced local LLMs and have someone with the knowhow finetune it on some data from here. Theres an entire community devoted to this so it isn't that hard to do.

I've actually heard of some people that were trying to do just that.
