I'm not sure this is what the OP meant, these are people directly alluding to racist jokes. The thing he's talking about (I think) are people who like edgy humor but have a meltdown if it includes jabs at sacred cows, like niggers or jews.
I’ve been to romania. I can wholeheartedly say the only real way to depict gypsies is to depict them as cowardly thieves. Giving them cool witch tricks is giving them too much credit, they just have their children pickpocket you.
