Retarded question but are the stickers die/kiss cut around the design or are they squares? The way the product image is set up makes me second guess.

Squares. Die cut was twice as expensive and most of the designs are squareish anyways because they need to fit a square image container.

Is the background white on the printed stickers? It's fine if they're cut square, but an unobtrusive, tone-matching background instead of solid white would make them look better when applied. I think so at least.
Also, should we have gotten a confirmation e-mail after placing orders?

They are white square-cut backgrounds as shown in the image.
I didn't receive any other negative feedback about the patches. Usually people are very happy with the merch.
