Whole-heartedly agree. I do think its somewhat part of his knee-bending to social Luddites however, when back in the day he was talkin' table-top games and how he'd rather neck than continue living with an ugly mug, into what we have now. He did the opposite of 'Sinking into what you are.'

Overall I see someone who overcame a deeply instilled addiction that helped his relationship. Childhood trauma can lead to many things, addiction (of any kind) being a big one. They also lost weight which is hard enough, especially if it's a significant amount.
As far as his taste in porn, like I said on rackets stream, you do you as long as it's consensual and not involving minors. Degeneracy is relative, what some people see as normal is disgusting to others. Love is like an oxygen tank; great in moderate doses, but if you shove it up your ass and light a match, you are going to have problems.
This. There are websites for just this purpose like 7Cups, where you can talk with people for free to vent to. The anonymity let's you tell all and gives you an avenue to discuss things you might not normally do.
