This thread is for reviews of recent changes (changes to layout, reactions and so on). People are mostly no good nudnigs who never says anything good and just complain and nitpick all changes to the k-farms.

I'll start the thread with a positive review: I really like the recent changes. The Christian Khantent emoji was a bit unsettling at first but I'm beginning to enjoy it. The layout is better and I like the fact that dear leader keeps making changes to the site and it doesn't remain static and boring.

The feature to promote threads for premium supporters is also pretty cool.

I also appreciate the generally extreme reliability and uptime of the k-farms. It has improved greatly over time.

File uploads seem much less janky, plus load times and overall stability have improved significantly.

The addition of a simple CWC lol reaction is greatly appreciated. As are the continued efforts to keep nonces out of our little community.

You're doing great, Jersh, keep up the good work. :)

You've set this up to get us all banned haven't you, nigger psychopath.

Fine, I don't like how the reactions are displayed, because it feels like Discord or Telegram or Tik-Tok, and it's hard to describe why that's off putting. I think it emphasises them, which was the apparent problem before in making people feel that negative feedback from negative ratings, and feels kind of cheap? From a design perspective, it was easy to read the general reaction to a post, but now there's a kaleidoscopic array of autistic colours. I'm not sure. I think it needs time for us all to get used to. I like the Dislike sticker is grey, that was overdue.

The search system also needs work? I like that it differentiates between general and lolcow but I search for people's direct quotes in some threads and they don't show up. It's good for searching articles and specific threads but it feels slightly clunky.

Everything else works well. I get lag and delays every now and then but that's my Internet. Promotion should be the next step to get the site's growth back on track, which I think, now in the resurgent era of the chud, is an opportunity that should be seized. That's a different subject though.

The sponsored section is shit for making me view garbage from the faggots I've put on ignore ages ago.
It's cheap, but if it helps the site make money, then fine. Sooner that than banner ads for boner pills.

Última edición:
I don't really care.

Like most people, I don't like change. But I know that I'll get used to it fairly easily too.

I am sure Null has his own engagement metrics to look at rather than individual feedback, and I assume some changes will be adjusted as we go.

I like the sponsored section because it can sometimes lead to discovering new interesting threads I didn't know about.

I don't use any of those platforms and I like the new reactions, so maybe it is some kind of a "guilt by association".

I’m being a negative Nancy as I haven’t liked any of the changes. Maybe I’m touched with the tism though. IDK.

If you put someone on ignore, chances are they will never offer you anything worth your attention.
I certainly didn't put multiple retarded shartyniggers on my list just to have their garbage shoved in my face simply because some of them shelled out $20.

Wanted to claim I haven't seen anything from the sharty yet, just to have this as the next sponsored post I saw lmao.

Yeah, having a way to at least block individuals would definitely be nice. But overall I still think it is a cool idea.

I like pretty much all of the changes.

I like the new stickers, the way reactions are displayed, and I like the fewer but more active boards. I also like the sponsored threads, although they are sometimes formatted a bit weirdly. I dunno. The DM system works much better now that the "invite" bug has been fixed. In general the forum feels snappy and responsive. Even genchat seems to work all the time.

The only negative is that us eurotards can't use the billpaypig method. But that's not Joshes fault.

Good job @Null you really, REALLY, deserve a vacation.

Overall I like the changes, there's just two minor things that's been bugging me. the Lol tooltip isn't LOL and the premium avatar frame looks odd.

I also like the changes. Some of them are even things I had been kinda wishing would happen, but I thought there was no chance of:
  • Big fan of the LOL sticker. While "Winner" sort of serves that purpose, you can only really use it to laugh "with" something, rather than "at" it. LOL is much more in the spirit of the site that way.
  • The Dislike button receiving a new color to distinguish it from the like button is great, and gray is a good color for it.
  • Consolidating the boards was a good move, and the tag search being done in button-filters like it is now is in my opinion strictly better than the old setup.
The only things I dislike are:
  • The blobs of black color on the "featured post" thing make it kind of ugly looking, but I really like the feature itself.
  • The new "Dumb" sticker is not as clear as the old one, and kind of looks like a pill bottle or something. I think it's a little too narrow.

I am going to get the cryptopayment system set up and it will work the same. $20 gets you T&H and a month of the reddit gold.

this is a much better idea than the people who are just like "ugh community participation fuck that im just here for the rekieta thread" tbh

Implement a way for "outsiders" to just buy placing an advertisement without even requiring a membership, or at least highlight the advertisement slot more than the reddit gold aspect (and the subsequent jew rating)

I know people hate ads but you have a webpage that tons of people visit and love and its all interesting people like writers and programmers so the advertising opportunity is really unique. I know "advertising" is probably antithetical to most k-farmers belief system but its a great way to generate consistent income for da website.
