I know it's been tossed around a few times (mainly as a joke), but would anyone actually want to do this? I actually kind of would. So, if we do have a con, where should it be and when? What should we do? All I know is this: There needs to be an open bar.
 
There's only one place to have such an event.

Might work better as a "Meet" or something than a full-blown Con. For one thing, while the majority of our member are in North America, a good chunk of 'em are holding down important CWC-charter offices in Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia, and we don't want to do something and leave them out. Especially the Aussies, Good GodBear do they now how to hold a grudge...

Further, while our numbers are substantial, I think a con would be a bit weighty for our ranks. Plus I doubt Chris would stop in to sell medallions, what with his legal troubles and all. Maybe Jay could come by and sign some comics. Oh, and I bet Dobson would love that too... let's put him and Jay next to each other. Perfect.

Well, if this does get off the ground, good luck. Just remember to buy a ballpit to distract all the wee tumblrites.
 
I'm saying something more along the lines of something we'd have to plan months for in order for it to even begin to work.

I used the term "Con", but yeah, it would be much closer to a good-sized meet.
 
Can't travel right now but I'd definitely go. :c You guys are the only legit friends I've ever had.
 
I think a meet would be a good idea, many of us live in the nyc area (me included) so that would be a good gathering space.
 
I guess I was thinking a central location. Like Chicago. But, New York sounds great.
 
So, when should we have this thing then?
