Kitten dumped after being ‘sexually abused’, burned and broken

A ‘sexually abused’ kitten covered in burns has been rescued after being dumped in an alley. The nine-month-old tortoiseshell cat, who vets have named Minnie because of how tiny she is, was found with a makeshift splint on her front right leg and is now unable to stand. She was rescued by the RSPCA after being discovered in Woking, Surrey, on Sunday. An RSPCA official said it was the worst abuse they had ever come across on a cat in their career. Now an investigation is underway to track down who is behind it.

Liz Wood, deputy manager at RSPCA’s Millbrook Animal Centre, in Woking, said: ‘It appears she may have been severely abused and she has a number of wounds full of maggots. ‘The vets believe these may have originally been burns as she had candle wax all over her tail. ‘She also shows signs of having been sexually abused – it is absolutely awful. ‘Minnie also had a makeshift splint on one of her front legs and is currently not able to stand on her back legs so we think she has some soft tissue and nerve damage as her x-rays are clear of any fractures.

‘She isn’t out of the clear yet but we are hoping she will make a recovery as she is very bright and a little fighter. ‘We have never seen a cat so abused before and it is heartbreaking that this has happened to her.’ Anyone who has any information should contact the RSPCA on 0300 123 8018.

Not gonna bother waxing about my obvious outrage, but I wondering how deranged a sadist you have to be to go this far and not outright kill an animal.

Being willing to torture and abuse an animal this badly without killing it makes me worry more for your sanity then if you just gave it a relatively quick death, because at least the latter means you didn't make a point of drawing out it's torment.

Hope the kitten pulls though, but it's going to have a very hard life recovering from it. Slight powerlevel, but I've adopted cats who were abuse cases and they always have an edge to them, even when they learn to trust a human again they can be put on the defensive easily when surprised. So, along with hoping the kitten pulls through, I hope it finds someone to take care of them who is patient and kind.

I honestly believe that if someone intentionally harms a kitten that they should just be executed and be done with it. There is something deeply broken inside their brains and unless that can be cured, they're going to continue hurting things. The human brain interprets kitten faces and cries as being the same as babies. A normal human is left with an instinctive desire to protect kittens as a result and most people can't even imagine hurting one; it hurts me just to even try and think about hurting a kitten. Someone who can't feel that way is a broken individual.

The brutality isn't the point, the suffering is the point, that's why he left the cat alive, so it could continue living in agony, devil may care if it's found and given treatment or dies slowly and painfully. This idiot is really just your bog standard serial killer, because the torture of an animal is a thing they do because it gives them a twisted thrill.

She's probably too weak right now to put up a fight even if she wanted to, but abused as she was, she can still tell the difference between a monster torturing her and people caring for her and nursing her back to health and she's probably already relieved to be somewhere away from the shithead who did this.

She won't trust anyone straight away, but soon enough she will come to trust at least one person that treats her with kindness. She'll probably always be afraid of strangers, but she'll eventually bond with someone and find a safe home. Whoever ends up with her will probably never know a more loyal cat.

I really really hope so. I admit I'm a sucker for those videos where you watch abused animals get rescued, cleaned up, and then adopted.
My greatest concern is that she's a kitten, and she's already learned that humans are a source of trauma. (and of course the fucking sociopath that did this is still on the loose, probably ready to rape and slice up a human next.)

Every person near her now is treating her tenderly unless her medical care requires poking or prodding, and even that's being done with kid gloves since they all know what she went through. Very true. I've fostered cats that were abused and neglected horribly, sometimes it takes a hell of a lot of time and many, many bags of treats, but rehabilitation is almost always possible. She certainly won't trust easy but I'm sure if she has someone who's willing to work with her she can lead a long, happy life as a spoiled house cat.

Oh and as much as I'd like to suggest an upside-down public crucifixion for the sick fucker who did this to her, I won't, because I have a hunch they might be the type to get off to that sort of punishment.
