It was insane that there were a few good posters who posted great content regularly there and it was all to serve a vast majority of sub retard waterheads who literally hated a man in bumfuck Wyoming for also being retarded. Part of me always thought they really were jealous that he was living somewhat comfortably in poverty despite being unemployed while they had to clock in for their wagie shift at Wendy's instead of cashing fat tard bux like a true gothic bad boy who smells good.
Cobes was probably right that his troles were jealous. Just not for the reasons he thought.
While I don't know any of Cobra's trolls personally, so I can't confirm these hunches, I can totally see some level of jealousy at play -- even if the trolls themselves didn't necessarily recognize it as such.
Imagine it: You're working your butt off at a minimum wage job, maybe more than one, completely exhausted at the end of every day, earning just barely enough to squeak by. You get home one night, and you would love nothing more than to order some DoorDash, but you know you can't afford it, so you drag your tired ass to the kitchen to make something unsatisfying when you simply want to relax.
Then you see the special boy from Wyoming on YouTube. He doesn't work, but he gets his 'tard bux that cover his rent and food; people throw money at him in exchange for painted sticks or even just to get a message to him. He orders whatever food he wants, spending exorbitantly on it and often ruining and wasting it in the process.
Why should he have it so easy while you have to fight for everything you earn?
Of course, we realize that Josh's life was anything but easy, but I could see someone selectively ignoring some of his troubles and focusing instead on different aspects of his life.
I feel really bad for Laurel. Some mental illnesses and disabilities don't really show until you hit your late teens/early 20's. I think she completely broke her brain after Clint divorced her, and I actually suspect that they split because of her handicaps starting to show themselves.
I do not, however, feel bad for her because she had a second child after Cobes with some other poor sod who stuck his dick in crazy. That said, she shouldn't be online at all and I don't think it's cool that people still pay attention to her. She's not a funny lolcow, just a sadcow. But I am a soft faggot.
It truly is scary and sad. Everyone is responsible for their own care, but it is possible for someone's brain to be so broken that they themselves don't recognize it. They need help, but they don't know that they need it, so they never seek it out (or the process for receiving care is far beyond their capabilities). Then they're just stuck -- destined to self-destruct because they are incapable of helping themselves or even availing themselves of the help of others.
I hope that some day a better system will be in place, but until then, look out for yourselves and your loved ones.
