This is very off topic but there’s an entire sect of youtube people presumably deep on the spectrum that are obsessed with flipping around VHS tapes like a tech deck skateboard and recording logos/bumpers that appear at the start of old VHS movies. It’s incredible when you meet someone who has their own unique weirdo that likes to show the Tristar logo in g-minor before kick flipping their copy of The Lion King.
No lie, I would LOVE a stream with this as the focus, if you ever feel the itch to entertain us. Literally anything that tickles your funnybone because your energy and humour is infectious.
Hope you, Frank, Chauncey and any of the other Cobros you hang out with, who have given me so many hours of joy, are all doing well. Please give your cat a scratch from me, any time I catch her in your recordings I laugh.

Snakebones has become my go-to soundtrack when I'm working because it's soothing and not too distracting. I like SR5k's voice but it's his attitude that really shines. He really makes his guests feel comfortable and confident. In the Stephanie interview, she started out very guarded and nervous but managed to open up to him because he was so easy to talk to. There was another episode where his guest asked if he'd heard of some expression, and he responded with an eager: "No, but that sounds neat!" and another where he asked his guest if he'd heard of some concept, and when the guest hadn't, he responded with a sweet comforting: "Aw, that's ok." It was nice. It made me feel like I could hang out with him without feeling stupid or condescended to or anything like that.

I've developed a bit of a man-crush on the guy. Nothing sexual, though. I'm not gay. I'm straight. I'm streaming. If it's paid for, leave it at the door.

These people are some of my favorite spergs on the Internet. There’s a huge overlap between these guys (which is known as the physical media community), the “users” that Deadwing Dork looks at, and the GoAnimate community (where the “grounded” videos come from). They are like an autistic version of Internet Bloodsports: they have beefs over shit, yell at each other, and literally go at it on Google Hangouts just like IBS.

I’d love to see a podcast episode about them.

BogChron uploaded an edit of his gas station pizza food hack from 2018. You can tell he's on spice by the way he talks in the video.

The cognitive decline was more subtle early on.

I have the perfect fella for you. Make sure you’re sitting on the floor in the back a car when you read it, though.
