Thank you to the anons posting the archives. I retardedly missed out on the first 20 minutes, so it was nice to see it memorialized.
 
I felt weird about the opening monologue by Clint, but then I realized it was him explaining why him or his family didn't ever participate in Cobes internet stuff and to explain why they seemed distant because of that. He could've explained it better I suppose, but he was grieving. Other than that, it was an excellent tribute. They didn't shy away from his eccentricity, or his stubbornness. But they showed a different side to him too. It's sad he moved away from embracing pink due to bullying at a young age, imagine all the drink combos, wands and fashion choices could've been pink, green and black.
I also like that this confirmed multiple fan theories, like Disney cartoons being the source of alot of his obsessions. All over, I cried alot, RIP GothicKingCobra, KingCobraJFS, but most importantly, RIP Joshua Saunders. I'm going to remember you the rest of my life, and I hope you are doing good in the afterlife bud.

What a whirlwind of emotions I felt today. Goddamn.

Ya know, I was reading the OP in this thread as this was happening, because I haven't followed Cobes very long as a Lolcow....relatively speaking, he never really did anything that nefarious, did he? I mean, sure he may have been irresponsible or may have done a few bad things here and there, but it all seems really benign compared to other lolcows. He was strange but actually pretty likeable. He may have called himself a 'bad boy' but I don't think he was a bad guy.

PS. holy shit the voicemail message at the end got me because I've lost a lot of family members in the past and would call their number just to hear their voice on a VM whenever it happened. Sigh....feels bad. But it makes me happy that over 10K people were watching the stream celebrating his life. Most people, especially content creators, could only fantasize about having that much of an audience grieve for them. RIP you special motherfucker, you.
 
That whole thing was so beautiful and horrible and incredibly generous to gift to us.

I can’t imagine being a single father to a special needs son who was terrible tormented all his life and died young. That’s a special kind of bond that none of us could ever have, I don’t think. It’s honestly incredible that both Clint and Josh have been so real, open, and vulnerable. A lesser man would have turned hard and cold and hateful seeing things turn out like that for his baby boy. I don’t think I would have been half the man he is in his place.

What a beautiful send off. My alive consenting non related cisgender fiance and I spent the better part of the hour just absolutely heartbroken. I’m also grateful that the comments section was overwhelmingly positive on the stream. There’s always going to be some sickos, but I was worried there’d be a sizeable amount of them clogging up the chat, which would be horrible if Josh’s family was reading
