JFC! Way too fucking young to go, period. As far as internet weirdos go he was far from the worst and really didn’t seem like such a bad guy at all. I mean choosing to live in filth, get drunk/high and e-beg all day doesn’t automatically make you evil or anything, doing actual evil things does. Rest easy, Sexy Goth Badboy, hope you’re doing inhalants with Ozzy somewhere right now.

Alcoholism is a cunt. Some people will die within a decade and some will linger on for thirty or forty years. Left to his own devices even making the prison hooch he'd probably have lived another 25-30yrs depending on his genetics. Redditors were sending him handles every single day - with finances and transport not being a problem he was allowed to drink literally all he could handle. Most alcoholics have to deal with a budget, the welfare check or selling cans for their habit. His trolls absolutely contributed to his death.

Agreed, as much as people shit on Clint and called him a bad father, he was always off to the side ready to catch Cobes whenever he drunkenly stumbled, doing his best to make sure he was never homeless and always fed. Maybe a bit too hands off at times, but there will always be background stuff we're never fully privy too

I think Clint did the best he could given how much issues Cobes had, how many people in here could say their fathers would or could do the same?
 
Just broke the news to my wife. Showed her Clint's video, and needless to say, its got her pretty upset.
Cobes was the only lolcow she ever had any interesting in knowing about, likely because he was one of the very few who wasn't a pedophile, rapist, or schizo-criminal.

I was able to get her to start watching Boglim Chronicles videos with me a few years ago, and for a couple years we were watching every one that came out (mainly for his livestream comments honestly).
At some point last year though we stopped watching him as much for whatever reason, but after we finished Clint's video she said she wished we kept up with him more.

I’m actually ok with this is they’re having the dasher leave the flowers at the door of his place. I imagine for Clint, having to go back there is hard af but he’ll have to. Seeing flowers might help him? I don’t know.

People get internet deranged and start Monday morning quarterbacking everything they know about how a parent raised the kid, or really, dissect any relationship or social situation that way without the full context and without the basic understanding that nobody is ever "ready" to be a parent, nobody is ever "ready" to be in a relationship. Life just happens. What separates good from bad is whether they tried to do good or not, and Clint obviously tried.

Oh my lord I can't believe a man who made a terribly bad penis decision in 1990 and ended up a single father to a retarded child didn't manage to make all of the right decisions at all of the right times and create a flawless and perfect environment for him. Clearly he is the monster and not me, the person spewing bile at a clearly emotionally devastated man.
